State of Ghent Green Spaces Special Meeting!

Join the Ghent Neighborhood League for a special meeting focused on the State of Ghent’s Green Spaces. We will gather with city leaders, local nonprofits, and community members to discuss the current conditions of our parks and public spaces—and what we can do to improve them. This is a crucial opportunity to address issues of maintenance, planning, funding, and long-term care for the green spaces that define the character and livability of Ghent and beyond.

Together, we’ll explore solutions that can elevate not just our neighborhood, but Norfolk as a whole. Your voice and ideas are essential—please join us and help shape a greener, healthier future for our community.

This month we’re meeting up at Olney and Colonial and really want to take care of the median down Olney, which looks pretty sad. We look forward to seeing you there, it’s always nice to start the weekend with a little community service and we really appreciate your help!!
